Our Banking and Finance Group advise clients on a wide range of banking, lending, finance and security transactions, including advising both borrowers and lenders in respect of secured and unsecured lending matters.

The group works closely with the firm’s clients in order to understand their banking, lending and finance needs and deliver sensible and commercial results.

Our Banking and Finance lawyers can assist on most finance and lending arrangements from a simple unsecured loan agreement through to advising on personal or corporate guarantees, mortgages, charges and complex secured international facilities. In addition, the team has particular experience in working with investment, commercial banks and other financial institutions.

The group has particular expertise in advising the firm’s media clients in relation to raising finance secured against their intellectual property rights. They also work closely with the firm’s real estate clients in relation to their various transactions.

The team has significant experience in reviewing, negotiating and advising clients on all aspects of the following banking and finance transactions: corporate lending, asset finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, securitisation, project finance, refinancing and restructuring, and corporate recovery, reorganisation and insolvency.
